Health and Safety Committee - Thursday, 10th October, 2024 6.00 pm
The Health and Safety Committee met to consider a report on the Corporate Health and Safety Board, and to confirm the minutes of their previous meeting. The report was provided by Rich Clarke, Lewisham Council's Head of Assurance, and covered issues raised in previous meetings, as well as accident and incident statistics. The previous minutes being considered for approval were for a meeting held on 23 May 2024.
Council - Wednesday, 2nd October, 2024 7.30 pm
The most significant item included on the agenda for this meeting of the full council was a report on the final outturn position of the treasury management activities for the 2023/24 financial year, and the mid-year review of the 2024/25 financial year. In addition to this, the Mayor was scheduled to make a number of announcements. There were no petitions for debate, and no motions submitted by councillors.
Licensing Committee - Thursday, 19th September, 2024 7.00 pm
Lewisham Council's Licensing Committee met to consider an application for a late night refreshment licence for Savalan Kebab at 289 Sydenham Road, London SE26 5EW. They decided to grant the application for late night refreshment, from 11pm to midnight Sunday to Thursday, and 11pm to 1am Friday and Saturday, subject to a number of conditions.
Housing Select Committee - Wednesday, 4th September, 2024 7.00 pm
This meeting included reports on the annual review of the Brockley PFI, an update on the Building for Lewisham development programme, and the Council's compliance with the Housing Ombudsman's Complaint Handling Code. The Council also presented their annual statutory reports to the Housing Ombudsman for scrutiny by the Committee.
Licensing Committee - Thursday, 29th August, 2024 7.00 pm
The Licensing Committee met to determine two applications for new premises licences. A new licence for Jerk Haven at 118 Bromley Road, SE6 was granted, subject to conditions agreed with the Licensing Authority and the Police and the amended hours. A new licence for Dimitri Burgers Ltd at 379-383 New Cross Road, SE14 6AT was also granted, subject to the conditions agreed with the Licensing Authority and the Police.
