The Planning Committee of Tewkesbury Council decided to refuse planning permission for applications 25/00169/OUT and 26/00064/OUT on 15 September 2026. They also decided to permit applications 25/00360/FUL, 24/00668/OUT, and 25/01005/FUL. The committee deferred decision on application 25/00925/FUL. For application 25/00360/FUL, a Landscape and Ecological Management Plan and a scheme for biodiversity enhancement were agreed. For application 24/00668/OUT, agreed Heads of Terms included affordable housing, refuse and recycling contributions, BNG contributions, playing pitch and changing room contributions, play provision, community centre contributions, and highways contributions for bus stops. For application 25/01005/FUL, agreed Heads of Terms included BNG contributions and Beechwood SAC contributions.

The Executive decided to note the financial update for quarter one of 2026/27 on 02 September 2026. The report indicated a projected outturn surplus of £1,106,433 before transferring ringfenced funding to reserves.

The Executive of Tewkesbury Council decided to approve a six-week public consultation on the proposed Churchdown Neighbourhood Area Designation application on 02 September 2026. This decision allows for public representation on the proposed boundary for a Neighbourhood Development Plan.

The Executive of Tewkesbury Council decided to note the Executive Committee Forward Plan on 02 September 2026. The plan includes additions such as the Churchdown Neighbourhood Area Designation and the Planning Enforcement Plan. It also notes the deletion of the Financial Update for Quarter Two 2026/27 from the 25 November 2026 meeting.

The Executive of Tewkesbury Council adopted the Planning Enforcement Plan 2026 on 02 September 2026. Authority was delegated to the Director: Growth, in consultation with the Lead Member for Planning and Place Making, to amend references to the National Planning Policy Framework. The plan includes a three-tier prioritisation system, a 30-working day target for case resolution, and six-monthly reporting to Planning Committee.
