The Licensing Act Sub Committee of Cornwall Council met on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, to consider one application to vary a premises licence. The Sub-Committee was scheduled to determine whether the application for Treloyhan Manor Hotel, Trelyon Avenue, St Ives, should be granted, with or without conditions and amendments, or refused. Councillors Nicky Chopak, Paul Cador, and Debra Clegg were scheduled to be in attendance.

The Licensing Act Sub Committee of Cornwall Council scheduled a meeting to discuss a licensing application for The Beach House, Swanpool, Falmouth. The application concerned a request to vary the premises licence. The sub-committee was to determine whether the application should be granted, with or without conditions and/or amendments, or refused, giving reasons for any decision reached.
Appeals Committee - Monday, 18th August, 2025 10.00 am
The Cornwall Council Appeals Committee met on 18 August 2025, chaired by Councillor James O'Keefe, to discuss requests for travel assistance to attend schools in Cornwall. Travel assistance was approved for a pupil to attend Nancealverne School in Redruth, but was refused for pupils attending Bodmin College, Oak Tree School in Bude, Red Moor School in Liskeard, and The Roseland Academy in St Austell. An appeal regarding travel assistance to Brannel School was settled prior to the meeting.

The Sustainable Growth and Place Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the council farms strategy, approve the committee's work programme for the coming year, and hear updates from cabinet members. The committee approved recommendations for a workshop on the council farms strategy, the work programme, and actions for the Cabinet Member for Transport. The committee also heard updates on the Pydar regeneration project in Truro and Newquay Spaceport.
