Extraordinary Meeting, Council - Thursday, 23rd October, 2025 4.00 pm

The Council of Doncaster Council scheduled an extraordinary meeting to be held on 23 October 2025. The main item on the agenda was a discussion of revisions to the appointment of chairs and vice-chairs of committees and sub-committees for the 2025/26 municipal year. This followed a requisition to convene an extraordinary meeting made by five Reform UK members of the council.

Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 9.30 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss key performance indicators from St Leger Homes of Doncaster, the council's financial performance, and the annual report on complaints and compliments. The committee was also expected to review its work plan for the year and the council's forward plan.

Council - Thursday, 18th September, 2025 6.00 pm

The Doncaster Council meeting on 18 September 2025 included discussion of a motion of no confidence in Mayor Ros Jones, which was not passed, as well as the approval of the Youth Justice Plan 2025/26 and noting the Health and Wellbeing Board's Annual Report 2024/25. Councillors also addressed public questions about flags on lampposts, the closure of Warmsworth Library, and IVF treatment availability.

Audit Committee - Thursday, 24th July, 2025 10.00 am

The Audit Committee of Doncaster Council was scheduled to meet on 24 July 2025 to discuss several key items, including an update on covert surveillance practices, the committee's prospectus and work programme, an internal audit progress report, and the unaudited statement of accounts for 2024/25. The meeting was also set to cover the audit committee action log, and the minutes of the previous meeting.

Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee was scheduled to discuss the Youth Justice Plan, the Statement of Licensing Policy, and the Overview and Scrutiny Work Plan, as well as the council's Forward Plan of Key Decisions. The meeting was also scheduled to include a period for public statements.
