2035 FIFA Womens World Cup

The Cabinet of Cardiff Council decided to approve support for the submission of the 2035 FIFA Women's World Cup bid on 16 October 2025. They also approved the submission of the Host City Agreement and associated guarantees. Authority was delegated to the Director of Economic Development, in consultation with the Cabinet Member (Culture Sport and Parks), Monitoring Officer, and S.151 Officer, to consider further matters relating to the bid.
