The Weaver Network Board noted recommendations on 22 October 2026. They approved the approach to build a minimum viable product for the customer workstream to ensure customer service standards are maintained during bus franchising. This includes enhancements to the contact centre platform, development of feedback management, procurement of new workforce planning and lost property systems.

The Weaver Network Board approved the minutes of their meeting held on 17 September 2026. The Board also noted an update on bus franchising progress.

The Weaver Network Board noted the bus performance report and raised concerns about network performance. The Board requested further information on improvement actions or mitigations for a future meeting and shared areas for future quarterly reports.

The Weaver Network Board approved changes to the Mayor's Fares Scheme from 1 January 2027. The Board approved the removal of local subsidy support for adult single bus fares and the continuation of subsidy support for MCard DaySaver and prepaid multi-operator MCard tickets until 31 March 2027. The Commercial Manager (Transport Services) will finalise scheme documentation, and a paper will be presented to the Combined Authority Board in December 2026 seeking approval for a new fares, ticketing, and retail strategy.
