Lincolnshire Waste Partnership - Thursday, 19th February, 2026 10.30 am

The Lincolnshire Waste Partnership met on 19 February 2026 to discuss progress on waste management initiatives across the county, with a particular focus on the rollout of food waste collections and upcoming regulatory changes. Decisions were made to note the progress of food waste collection implementation and to delegate authority for establishing a working model for plastic bag and wrapping collections.

Environment Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 13 February 2026 - 10.00 am

The Environment Scrutiny Committee met on Friday 13 February 2026 to discuss the Humber 2100+ flood risk management strategy, a new Environment Policy, and performance reporting for waste and flooding services. The committee acknowledged the progress on the Humber 2100+ programme and recommended continued support for the initiative. They also supported the proposed new Environment Policy, with a summary of their comments to be passed to the Executive. Performance in waste management was noted as below target for recycling rates, though household waste collected per household was below target, which was viewed positively. Flood investigation reports were all completed within the six-month target.

Planning and Regulation Committee - Monday, 9 February 2026 - 10.30 am

The Planning and Regulation Committee of Lincolnshire Council met on Monday 9 February 2026, where they granted conditional outline planning permission for residential development at Cathedral Quarry, Lincoln, and refused planning permission for an inert waste management facility at the former MOD RAF Air Base in Woodthorpe. The committee also approved the submission of a Local Impact Report to the Examining Authority regarding a solar photovoltaic electricity generating facility at Navenby, and recommended approval for several proposed traffic regulation orders across the county.

Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 28 January 2026 - 10.00 am

The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met on 28 January 2026 to discuss the Adult Care and Community Wellbeing budget proposals for 2026/27, the future of the Integrated Lifestyle Service, the recommissioning of Home Based Reablement services, and the Director of Public Health's Annual Report. The committee supported passing comments on the budget proposals to the Executive, but voted against recommending the continuation of the Integrated Lifestyle Service in its current form, opting instead to support the Executive's recommendation to dissolve it. They also supported the recommissioning of the Home Based Reablement service and the Director of Public Health's Annual Report.

The Environment Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire Council met on Friday, 16 January 2026, to discuss a range of environmental matters. Key decisions included the endorsement of budget proposals for 2026/27, support for updates to the Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Development Scheme and Statement of Community Involvement, and approval for the construction of the Toynton St Peter Surface Water Scheme. The committee also reviewed the current flood risk and water management capital programme and its future pipeline.
