The Governance Committee met to discuss proposed amendments to the Council's Constitution, including changes to the terms of reference for the Housing Select Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee, as well as adjustments to procedure rules and schemes of delegation. The committee also considered a proposal to allow individual committees to determine their own start times.
Planning Committee B - Thursday, 4th December, 2025 7.00 pm
The Planning Committee B of Lewisham Council met to discuss a Section 73 application[^1] for minor material amendments to a previously approved planning permission for Hesper House, London, SE26 6RQ. Councillors unanimously voted to grant permission for the application with attached conditions. The proposed amendments include increasing the number of flats from 15 to 17, changes to the housing mix, an increase in the building footprint, external design changes, reconfiguration of the lower ground floor, and relocation of communal amenity and play space.

The Council meeting on Wednesday 26 November 2025 confirmed the minutes of the previous meeting and addressed several key announcements, including a community safety update, the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, and recognition for the planning service. Significant funding was also announced for bus infrastructure improvements and upgrades to youth clubs and adventure playgrounds.
