Planning Committee B - Thursday, 4th December, 2025 7.00 pm

The Planning Committee B of Lewisham Council met to discuss a Section 73 application[^1] for minor material amendments to a previously approved planning permission for Hesper House, London, SE26 6RQ. Councillors unanimously voted to grant permission for the application with attached conditions. The proposed amendments include increasing the number of flats from 15 to 17, changes to the housing mix, an increase in the building footprint, external design changes, reconfiguration of the lower ground floor, and relocation of communal amenity and play space.

Council - Wednesday, 26th November, 2025 7.30 pm

The Council of Lewisham met on Wednesday 26 November 2025, addressing community safety concerns, celebrating achievements in planning and parks, and approving the annual accounts. The council also discussed petitions, public and member questions, and motions related to recognising the contributions of British West Indian service personnel and the Latin American community in Lewisham.

Planning Committee B - Tuesday, 25th November, 2025 7.00 pm

In a meeting of Planning Committee B, Lewisham Council approved the construction of a four-storey building with a basement to house a place of worship and six apartments on Lewisham High Street, and also approved the conversion of Catford Police Station into 63 affordable housing units. Councillors also approved the construction of two semi-detached houses in Chilthorne Close.

Standing Advisory Council of Religious Education (SACRE) - Tuesday, 25th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The Lewisham Standing Advisory Council of Religious Education (SACRE) meeting on 25 November 2025 was scheduled to cover a range of topics, including a safeguarding update, a review of RE teaching hours, and a discussion on the curriculum and assessment review. Attendees were also expected to discuss what makes a good SACRE member.
