Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Panel - Thursday 18th September 2025 12.30 pm
The Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Panel met to discuss a range of issues, including the Joint Independent Audit Committee Annual Report, an overview of performance in key areas of service delivery, and the Panel's work programme for the coming year. The Panel approved the proposed work programme for 2025/26, with the addition of the topic of dealing with serious anti-social behaviour in Northamptonshire, and requested a report from the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner on performance against the missions and tests in the Commissioner’s Public Safety Plan. The Panel also noted an update on complaints and conduct matters.

The West Northamptonshire Council Non-Strategic Planning Committee met on 7 August 2025 to discuss several planning applications and related matters. The committee approved applications for 8 Stimpson Avenue, 6 Banbury Lane, and Linfield, Duncote Road, while refusing applications for 4 Ivy Road and 45 Greenfield Avenue, contrary to officer recommendations. A decision on The Poplars Farm, The Green, was deferred.
West Northamptonshire Schools Forum - Tuesday 1st July 2025 2.00 pm
The West Northamptonshire Schools Forum was scheduled to meet to discuss the Dedicated Schools Grant provisional outturn for 2024-25, the deficit management plan, and the administrative arrangements for allocating central government grants in 2025-26. They were also scheduled to elect a chair and vice-chair for the upcoming year. Maintained school members were expected to approve the carry forward of school balances above 10% of their budget.
