Standards Committee - Wednesday, 9th April, 2025 7.00 pm
The Standards Committee met to discuss and recommend the adoption of a new Member Code of Conduct to the Full Council, replacing the current code. The proposed code is based on the Local Government Association (LGA) Model Code of Conduct, with minor amendments. The committee also reviewed declarations of interest from members.
Brent, Lewisham and Southwark IT Committee - Tuesday, 18th March, 2025 6.00 pm
This meeting of the shared IT service of three London boroughs was scheduled to include a report on the service's performance, and another on its cyber security status. The performance of the Shared Technology Service was scheduled to be discussed by the committee. In addition, Councillors were scheduled to receive a report on the cyber security status of the Shared Technology Services. This report was also scheduled to cover the threats and mitigations identified in relation to the Shared Technology Services. The risk register for the shared ICT service was scheduled to be considered in private, as this was considered to be commercially sensitive information.
Planning Committee B - Tuesday, 11th March, 2025 7.00 pm
The report pack that was prepared for this meeting contained planning applications for four sites in the borough. The applications covered a wide range of proposals, including a new roof extension at Robins Court, the demolition of garages to build two new homes at Belmont Hall Court, a new house on a garage site to the rear of 60 Breakspears Road, and a proposal to add two new storeys to a mixed use building at 23 Mercia Grove.
Governance Committee - Tuesday, 4th March, 2025 7.00 pm
The Governance Committee of Lewisham Council met on Tuesday 04 March 2025 at 7pm and resolved to recommend a series of amendments to the Lewisham Council constitution[^1] to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Council on 7 May 2025. The amendments would remove Local Assemblies from the constitution, reduce the number of topics that can be discussed at Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) of the council, limit the length of time given over to motions at council meetings, and prevent Cabinet Advisors from being members of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
Pensions Investment Committee - Wednesday, 8th January, 2025 6.00 pm
The Pensions Investment Committee met to confirm the minutes of its previous meeting, but was ultimately unable to do so. The committee will now have to wait until February to confirm the minutes from its November meeting.
