This meeting is scheduled to cover a wide range of financial matters, including the Council's budget for 2025-26, the rates at which it will charge fees for its services, its plans to invest in new buildings and infrastructure and the pay of its employees. The meeting is also scheduled to include the appointment of Paul Calaminus to the Health and Wellbeing Board.

This meeting was about considering planning applications for two sites: Lea Bridge Station Sites and Chingford Kennels. The Planning Committee also received a report on recent planning performance.

Grant of a premises licence at St James’s Food Store, 44 St James’s Street, Walthamstow, London E17 7PE, Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committee - Thursday, 30th January, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to determine an application for the grant of a new premises licence for St James's Food Store, 44 St James's Street in Walthamstow. The Sub-Committee decided to reject the application due to the applicant's close family ties to the previous licence holder, whose licence had been revoked due to serious breaches of the licensing objectives, and their view that, given the short time that had elapsed, the business was essentially being managed in the same manner.

Planning Committee - Tuesday, 14th January, 2025 7.00 pm

The meeting saw planning permission granted for a residential development, a change of use from residential to commercial, and the construction of a crematorium. An application for a residential development was also approved.
