The Combined Authority Board of West Yorkshire Combined Authority approved appointments to external bodies for the municipal year 2026/27 on 25 June 2026. The decision approved the appointments as set out in Appendix 1 of the submitted report.

The Combined Authority Board approved the Officer Delegation Scheme for Non-Mayoral and Mayoral General Functions on 25 June 2026. The scheme was amended to reflect revised committee names, ensure officers have regard to control measures, and include a new paragraph stating the scheme does not confer authority on Mayoral Commissioners. An addition ensures Proper Officers comply with the new Statutory Health Improvement and Health Inequality Duty.

The Combined Authority Board decided to approve the draft Annual Governance Statement on 25 June 2026. This statement is for publication as part of the annual accounts.

The Combined Authority Board of West Yorkshire Combined Authority approved the calendar of meetings for the Combined Authority and its committees for 2026-27. This decision was made on 25 June 2026.

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority Board did not agree to the recommendations of the Independent Remuneration Panel or the adoption of the amended Members' Allowances Scheme for 2026/2027. The decision was deferred to the July 30, 2026 meeting.
