The Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee met on 15 September 2025, to discuss a range of issues including budget monitoring, treasury management, and contract performance. Children, Education and Families Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 11 September 2025 7.00 pm

The Children, Education and Families Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee met on 11 September 2025, and among other things, discussed the Children and Young People's Plan 2025-2029, the constitution of the Schools Forum, and a deep dive into children and young people's mental health and wellbeing services. The committee supported the recommendations in all of the reports they discussed.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Friday 5 September 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee convened to consider a report regarding a temporary event notice (TEN) application for Pierluigi's, a restaurant located at 86 - 90 High Street, Beckenham. Objections to the application were included in the report. The sub-committee was scheduled to determine whether to uphold or dismiss these objections.

Pensions Committee - Thursday 28 August 2025 7.00 pm

The Bromley Council Pensions Committee met on 28 August 2025, to discuss the performance of the pension fund, the annual report, and a presentation from Legal & General Investment Management. The committee endorsed the key procurement decision levels and noted the contents of the Pension Fund Performance report, the Local Pension Board Annual Report 2024/25, and the Pension Fund Annual Report and Draft Accounts 2024/25.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday 4 August 2025 10.00 am

The Bromley Council Licensing Sub-Committee convened to discuss two temporary event notices (TENs) submitted by Mr Marco Pierluigi Bianchi for Pierluigi's, 86 - 90 High Street, Beckenham. The Public Health Nuisance Team had objected to both applications, citing concerns over the prevention of public nuisance due to ongoing enforcement action and previous issues with loud amplified music at the premises. The Licensing Sub-Committee was asked to determine the applications, considering Bromley's Statement of Licensing Policy 2025 to 2030 and representations from the applicant and objectors.
