About

The Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny (PDS) Committee is responsible for scrutinising the work of the Council's Executive and the Resources, Commissioning and Contract Management Portfolio Holder. It considers matters relating to the strategic management of the Council, such as finance, human resources, information technology, communications and property management.   Members of the public are permitted to ask one question of up to 50 words at each meeting of the Committee.  The question must be relevant to the terms of reference of the Committee or the Portfolio Holder. Please let us know whether you will attend the meeting to put your question in person, or whether you require a written reply. All questions and replies are published in the minutes of the meeting.    In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, questions from the public that are not specific to reports on the agenda must have been received in writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of the meeting. The deadlines are expected to be:   Meeting on 16 March 2026: Monday 2 March 2026 Meeting on 26 May 2026: Monday 11 May 2026 Meeting on 22 June 2026: Monday 8 June 2026 Meeting on 20 July 2026: Monday 6 July 2026 Meeting on14 September 2026: Friday 28 August 2026 Meeting on 26 October 2026: 12 October 2026 Meeting on 23 November 2026: Monday 9 November 2026 Meeting on 18 January 2027: Monday 4 January 2027 Meeting on 8 February 2027: Monday 25 January 2027 Meeting on 5 April 2027: Thursday 18 March 2027     Questions specifically to clarify reports on the agenda should be received within two working days of the normal publication date of the agenda. The deadline is given on each agenda.    One question is allowed per person per meeting.   At special meetings, only questions relating to reports on the agenda are taken.
