The Lewisham Standing Advisory Council of Religious Education (SACRE) convened a meeting to discuss a range of topics, including a review of the curriculum and assessment, religious education (RE) teaching hours, and what makes a good SACRE member. The meeting also included a safeguarding update and an information exchange.

The Standing Advisory Council of Religious Education (SACRE) met on 21 October 2025, at Emmanuel Church, Lee. The agenda included a safeguarding update, discussion of Holocaust Memorial Day 2026, and an update on Inter Faith Week 2025. The meeting also included an opportunity for members to discuss current events and their impact on local communities.

Agreed Syllabus Commitee - Monday, 15th September, 2025 6.30 pm

The Lewisham Council Agreed Syllabus Committee (ASC) met to discuss membership, elect a chair and vice-chair, and outline their future work. The committee was also scheduled to discuss training for members and the application of a code of conduct. The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Civic Suite Rushey Green in Catford.
