Planning Board - Tuesday, 24 February 2026 - 6.30 pm
The Planning Board of Greenwich Council met on Tuesday 24 February 2026. The meeting confirmed the holding of the meeting and that decisions were made. The board granted planning permission for the redevelopment of Morden Wharf, located off Tunnel Avenue, Greenwich, London SE10 0PA, subject to a Section 73 application for alterations to conditions attached to an extant planning permission. The board also granted full planning permission for the demolition of the existing building at 1-4 Beresford Square, Woolwich, SE18 6BB, to facilitate a mixed-use redevelopment. However, two items, Phases 3, 4 and 5 of Greenwich Millennium Village and Plots 501-503, Greenwich Millennium Village, were deferred.
Planning Board - Tuesday, 21st October, 2025 6.30 pm
The Royal Greenwich Planning Board met to discuss planning permission for a mixed-use development near Woolwich Crossrail station and a flexible use building in Thamesmead. Councillors approved both applications, subject to conditions and legal agreements.
Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 6.30 pm
Councillor Gary Dillon, Chair of Planning, opened the meeting of the Local Planning Committee on 10 June 2025. The committee approved a temporary change of use for a cafe in Greenwich, and the construction of three new homes in Blackheath. A decision on a proposed house in multiple occupation (HMO) in Plumstead was approved with additional conditions, while a decision on an outbuilding in Blackheath was deferred for further information.
Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 25th February, 2025 6.30 pm
The committee approved an application to convert a residential lobby into a cafe at 7 Warman Walk, Greenwich Millennium Village. The committee also refused an application for a change of use from a single dwelling house to a five-bedroom HMO at 61 Macoma Road, Plumstead, and deferred a decision on an application for a temporary change of use of a cafe to a marketing suite at 1 Oswald Gardens, Greenwich Millennium Village.
Planning Board - Tuesday, 8th October, 2024 6.30 pm
The meeting considered three planning applications and made decisions on all of them. Planning permission was granted for the demolition of an MOT garage and its replacement with flats and commercial space at 2B Rathmore Road, subject to conditions and a Section 106 legal agreement. The committee also resolved to grant planning permission for the demolition of a car wash and pet hospital at 1A and 1C Eynsham Drive and their replacement with a co-living development, a hotel and a new pet hospital, subject to conditions and a Section 106 agreement. The committee also resolved to grant planning permission for the retention for up to ten years of a decked car park on land to the west of West Parkside and east of Millennium Way on the Greenwich Peninsula, subject to conditions.
