Sustainable Development Select Committee - Thursday, 13th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sustainable Development Select Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss town centre regeneration, and to review its work programme. Updates on regeneration programmes in Lewisham Town Centre and Catford were expected to be given, including progress on the Lewisham Town Centre Improvement Programme, the Catford Town Centre Framework, the former Catford Constitutional Club, and Thomas' Lane Yard. The committee was also expected to review its work programme and consider items for the next meeting.

Croydon & Lewisham Street Lighting Joint Committee - Tuesday, 4th November, 2025 6.00 pm

The Croydon & Lewisham Street Lighting Joint Committee met on Tuesday, 4 November 2025. The meeting included an update on the Joint Street Lighting Private Finance Initiative (PFI), and a review of the service provider's performance between September 2024 and August 2025. Councillors were also scheduled to appoint a chair and vice-chair for the 2025-2026 municipal year.

Mayor and Cabinet - Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025 6.00 pm

At a meeting on 22 October 2025, Lewisham Council's Mayor and Cabinet agreed to extend the advice services grant, implement changes to bulky waste disposal, and transfer management of Whitefoot Lane Playing Fields to Bonus Pastor School, among other decisions. The cabinet also approved a new active travel strategy and discussed ways to improve housing policies and services.

Pensions Investment Committee - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Lewisham Pension Investment Committee met to discuss a range of issues, including divestment from companies operating in occupied territories, the annual report, and a general update on the pension fund. Representatives from the Lewisham Divest for Palestine campaign addressed the committee, and the committee agreed to prepare a report on using the UN list of companies complicit in human rights abuses as a guide for divestment. The committee also agreed to a referral response to a motion on divestment that was tabled at a council meeting in July.
