Councillors approved the appointment of Lisa Marie Williams as the returning officer and electoral registration officer, and also approved a motion to engage with water and sewage providers on capacity investment in the local plan. A motion regarding transparency of member fees was referred to the Standards and General Purpose Committee.

Strategic Sites Committee - Thursday, 3rd July, 2025 2.00 pm

The Strategic Sites Committee of Buckinghamshire Council scheduled a meeting to discuss planning applications, primarily concerning the Wilton Park development in Beaconsfield. The committee was expected to review reserved matters for existing outline permissions and consider a new outline application for additional dwellings.

High Wycombe Town Committee - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The High Wycombe Town Committee met to discuss a vision for the town, review special expenses, and receive updates on market infrastructure and town centre development. Councillor Ed Gemmell was formally appointed as Chairman, and Councillor Lesley Clarke OBE was appointed as Vice Chair. The Garibaldi, 11-17 High Street, Burnham, Slough, SL1 7JB (Application), Licensing (Premises) Sub-Committee - Thursday, 19th June, 2025 10.30 am

Buckinghamshire Council's licensing subcommittee convened to consider an application for a new premises licence for The Garibaldi pub, located at 11-17 High Street, Burnham, Slough, SL1 7JB. The application was submitted by Star Pubs and Bars Limited, following the death of the previous licence holder and the subsequent lapse of the existing licence. After hearing arguments from all parties, the committee agreed to grant the licence with amended conditions.
