Hybrid and Transactional Mail

From: Cabinet - Monday, 15th June, 2026 6.00 pm - June 15, 2026

The Council currently has a contract in place for the provision at a corporate level for all hybrid and transactional mail. The current contract expires on 31st August 2026 but has an option to extend for a further 24 months. To enable the continuation of these services for all Southend-on-Sea City Council Departments, this report is seeking approval to trigger this extension to the contract until 31st August 2028.

Recommendations Approved

Extension of current Highway Term Service Contract

From: Cabinet - Monday, 21st July, 2025 6.00 pm - July 21, 2025

We require a 3 month extension (31st July to 31st October 2025) of current contract detailed above, with the current incumbent – Marlborough Highways. Due to unforeseen delays in the ITT process the documents have gone out later than envisaged and therefore we need to leave sufficient time for the mobilisation period following contract award.
