The Council of Lewisham Council met on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, for its annual general meeting, and to discuss a review of the council's constitution. The agenda included the election of the speaker and deputy speaker, and the allocation of seats and appointments to committees.

Public Accounts Select Committee - Thursday, 3rd April, 2025 7.00 pm

The Public Accounts Select Committee was scheduled to meet on Thursday, 3 April 2025, to discuss financial monitoring, the 'No Wrong Front Door' programme, a digital strategy update, and the committee's work programme. The meeting was also scheduled to include declarations of interest from councillors. There were no responses from the Mayor and Cabinet scheduled for discussion.

Audit and Risk Committee - Tuesday, 18th March, 2025 7.00 pm

This meeting was about the final accounts for 2023/24 and the early stages of planning for the 2024/25 audit. A report by KPMG, the Council’s external auditor, was provided that described its audit of the 2023/24 accounts, the value for money arrangements at the Council and its plans for the 2024/25 audit. The Committee were also provided with an update on the work of internal audit and the Corporate Risk Register.

BUDGET, Council - Wednesday, 5th March, 2025 7.30 pm

This meeting was about setting Lewisham Council's budget for 2025/26. It included discussion of the council's overall financial position, a proposed increase to council tax, and the setting of housing rents.

Sustainable Development Select Committee - Wednesday, 26th February, 2025 7.00 pm

This meeting was an opportunity for the committee to review the regeneration of Catford Town Centre, to receive a briefing on a new Active Travel Strategy for the Borough, and to consider the work programme of the committee.
