The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, to discuss the re-procurement of externally commissioned building-based day care services, the future of the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) service, and an extension to short breaks and emergency provision contracts. The committee resolved to support the recommendations made in relation to these items and to forward their comments to the Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health.

The Executive of Lincolnshire Council met on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, to discuss and approve several key items, including the council's budget for 2026/27, the North Hykeham Relief Road project, the capital repairs and maintenance programme, and the Adult Social Care Strategy. A significant decision was made to approve the initial proposals for the 2026/27 council budget, which includes an assumed 4.99% council tax increase, subject to further consultation and scrutiny. The Executive also approved the progression of the North Hykeham Relief Road to construction, pending final confirmation from the Department for Transport.

Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 10.00 am
The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Integrated Lifestyle Service, the Adult Social Care Strategy, the Adult Social Care Target Operating Model, and service level performance. The committee agreed to support the recommendations to the executive regarding the Adult Social Care Strategy. Members also requested more information on smoking quit targets and discussed the committee's work programme, agreeing to add an extra meeting in March.
Executive - Tuesday, 2nd December, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire County Council's Executive met to discuss the Section 17 Crime and Disorder Strategy and the Review of Financial Performance for the second quarter of 2025/26, and voted to approve the recommendations for both. The Crime and Disorder Strategy was recommended to the County Council for formal approval, and the Executive noted the forecast outturn position for revenue and capital, along with the mitigations being progressed.
