The Scrutiny & Overview Committee of Croydon Council met on Tuesday 21 July 2026 to discuss resident access to council services, the significant overspend in the Dedicated Schools Grant, and to review the council's work programme for the upcoming year. The Croydon Council meeting on 20 July 2026 saw the adoption of the Safer Croydon Partnership Community Safety Strategy 2026-2029, which builds on previous progress in reducing crime and enhancing partnership working. The Council also agreed to adopt the updated Webb Estate and Upper Woodcote Village Conservation Areas Appraisal and Management Plan (CAAMP) to guide future development and conservation efforts. Additionally, the Health and Wellbeing Board's Annual Report for 2025 and proposed updates to its Terms of Reference were approved.
