Cardiff Council's cabinet approved a refreshed advertising and sponsorship policy, responded to the Panel Performance Assessment, and agreed to proceed with proposals to extend the age range of Ysgol Gymraeg Coed-Y-Gof. The cabinet also received reports on the visitor levy, the well-being report, the digital strategy, budget monitoring, the budget strategy, and the annual property plan.

Glamorgan Archives Joint Committee - Friday, 12th September, 2025 2.00 pm

The Glamorgan Archives Joint Committee met to note the membership of the committee for the municipal year 2025/26, elect Councillor Gwyn John as Chair and Councillor Gareth Richards as Vice Chair, note the joint arrangement/terms of reference of the committee, and to note the work of Glamorgan Archives for the period 1st March to 31st May 2025, and to note the outturn position for 2024/25, the draft Statement of Accounts for 2024/25, and the attached draft Minor Bodies Return 2024/25, and to authorise the Committee Chair to sign the Minor Bodies Return 2024/25.

The Cardiff Council Cabinet met on Thursday 10 July 2025, and approved a public consultation for a neurodiversity strategy, a partnership agreement for a joint equipment service, a fostering support policy, a cycle hire scheme, a responsible procurement policy, and a masterplan for Pengam Green. They also discussed and agreed to recommendations regarding filming in Cardiff, updates on City Hall, and the International Sports Village.
