Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday, 15th December, 2025 10.30 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee is scheduled to convene remotely to address licensing matters within the borough. The main item for consideration is an application for a premises licence at a shop on London Road. The sub-committee will also discuss any urgent business and consider excluding the press and public from the meeting for certain items.

Council - Wednesday, 10th December, 2025 6.30 pm

The Croydon Council meeting on 10 December 2025 addressed several key issues, including the approval of the Youth Justice Plan 2025-26, a review of the Equality Strategy 2023-27, and the delegation of recruitment responsibilities for the Local Pension Board. Councillors also discussed the use of special urgency for key decisions, the council calendar for 2026-27, the appointment of an interim chief executive, treasury management, and an increase in member allowances.

Licensing Committee - Tuesday, 2nd December, 2025 6.30 pm

The Licensing Committee was scheduled to convene to consider applications for street designation orders and street trading licences, as well as to review minutes from previous meetings. Councillor Patsy Cummings was scheduled to chair the meeting.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday, 10th November, 2025 10.30 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee met on Monday to discuss an application for a premises licence at Wandle Park Cafe, and ultimately decided to grant the application. The licence is subject to conditions offered by the applicant, mandatory conditions imposed under the Licensing Act 2003, and an additional condition that alcohol can only be sold with a meal.

Council - Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025 6.30 pm

At a meeting of Croydon Council, the lead commissioner gave a statement on behalf of the commissioners, the council approved recommendations regarding external audit findings and extension to the term of the Independent Chair of Audit and Governance Committee, and councillors debated traffic calming measures on Spa Hill and improvements to Courtwood Park. The council also discussed a range of questions from the public, including concerns about building safety at The Fold and Malcolm Wicks House.
