People Overview & Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 18 September 2025 10.00 am

The Oxfordshire Council's People Overview & Scrutiny Committee convened on 18 September 2025, to discuss adult social care and safeguarding. The committee reviewed the Oxfordshire Adults Safeguarding Board Annual Report 2024-25, and received an update on the Age Well programme, which supports older people in Oxfordshire. The committee agreed to note both reports and consider making recommendations to the cabinet based on them.

The Oxfordshire Joint Health Overview & Scrutiny Committee met to discuss general practice access, eyecare services, and support for adults with autism and ADHD in Oxfordshire. The committee noted responses to previous recommendations regarding musculoskeletal services, audiology, cancer services, Oxfordshire as a Marmot Place, and Oxfordshire system pressures. They also discussed the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board's (BOB ICB) neighbourhood health bid.
