The Planning Committee of Brent Council met on Wednesday 10 December 2025 and granted planning permission for the redevelopment of Havenwood Garages. The meeting also confirmed there were no apologies for absence or declarations of interest beyond those related to the main planning application.

The Brent Council Planning Committee convened to discuss two significant planning applications and other routine items. The committee approved plans for Argenta House, a 100% affordable housing development, and also approved a variation to a prior planning permission for a property on Lydford Road.

The Brent Council Planning Committee met on Wednesday 10 September 2025, and approved the change of use of a vacant bank to an adult gaming centre, and refused permission for a new dwelling due to design concerns. Councillor Saqib Butt, Vice-Chair of the committee, chaired the meeting in the absence of Councillor Matt Kelcher.
