The Funding Committee of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority Council decided to approve recommendations regarding the closure of the subsidiary Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Business Growth Company Limited on 07 September 2026. The committee recommended that the Combined Authority Board approve shareholder documentation and delegate authority to the Chief Executive Officer to sign documents for the share capital reduction. This includes the cancellation of 5,807,000 ordinary shares and the transfer of the resulting credit to a profit and loss reserve.
