Stepping Hill Area Committee decided to approve an application from North West Steel Band Association for Ward Flexibility Funding. The committee granted £142.80 towards the cost of hosting their annual concert on St Peter’s Square, Stockport in June 2027.

Stepping Hill Area Committee approved an application from Inspire Capital Sports CIC for Ward Flexibility Funding. The committee granted £125.01 to support up to four young people with financial barriers to sports participation.

The Stepping Hill Area Committee approved an application from Hazel Grove Carnival Association to hold a Christmas event in Torkington Park on Saturday, 5 December 2026. The approval is subject to the organisers providing all necessary paperwork, including licences, health and safety documentation, and insurance certificates, at least two weeks prior to the event.

Stepping Hill Area Committee approved an application from ARC Mindset CIC for £150 of Ward Flexibility Funding. The funding will expand small group and 1:1 coaching interventions for disadvantaged groups by equipping volunteer coaches with starter kits.
