Proposed Leases to Academies

The Property Sub-Committee of Staffordshire Council approved the grant and completion of 125-year leases for school sites on 15 July 2026. This decision allows for the lease of school sites to academies, including St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School, Thomas Russell Junior School, and Cooper Perry Primary School. The leases will be granted at a peppercorn rent, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Education required before completion.
