The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA) Employment and Skills Board met to discuss skills and employment initiatives in the region. The board unanimously approved recommendations regarding the Care Leaver Covenant, signalling support for the Care Leaver community, and endorsed recommendations related to the devolution of the Adult Skills Fund (ASF), including strategic priorities, a strategic skills plan, and commissioning plans. The board also reviewed and supported the Skills England and Local Skills Improvement Plan, and the Get Britain Working White Paper and a Get Lincolnshire Working Plan.

The Pay Policy and Terms and Conditions Sub-Committee met to review the salary of the Chief Executive. The committee agreed that the Chief Executive's remuneration should mirror that of county councils that provide a salary range, setting it at £204,522 to £230,633, consisting of five incremental points to be awarded (or not) on a bi-annual basis.

Executive Deputy Leader

The Lincolnshire Council Executive met to discuss long-term coastal flood resilience, updates to the local enforcement plan, and appointments to outside bodies. The Executive approved a financial contribution of up to £0.995m towards the first stage of a business case for investment in long term coastal flood resilience and economic sustainability, supported the Environment Agency’s beach nourishment programme, and agreed to the council's role as lead partner on the Lincs Coast 2100+ Partnership. Councillors also approved the updated Local Enforcement Plan and made amendments to appointments to outside bodies.
