The Adult Social Services, Health and Housing Committee convened to discuss several key issues, including approving a new domestic abuse policy for housing services, addressing homelessness, and setting the course for future care technology and public health initiatives. Special Meeting, Council - Tuesday, 11 November 2025 7.00 pm

Richmond upon Thames Council convened to bestow the honour of Honorary Freeman of the Borough upon Sir Vince Cable, recognising his decades of public service and contributions to the Twickenham constituency. The motion, proposed by Councillor Gareth Roberts, Leader of the Council, and seconded by Councillor Andrée Frieze, Leader of the Opposition, was unanimously approved. Sir Vince Cable accepted the honour with a speech reflecting on his 50 years in the borough and his political career.

Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday, 16 October 2025 1.30 pm

The Richmond Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) convened to discuss key issues impacting the borough, including mental health services for young people, childhood obesity, neurological conditions, and the state of primary care facilities. The board approved the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment for 2025 and discussed a co-production charter to improve collaboration with residents.
