The King George's Field Charity Board met on Wednesday 4 March 2026, approving updated financial reports and a grant agreement for park improvements. The Board also noted ongoing discussions regarding commercial property leases and deferred a decision on fees and charges.

The committee approved its Terms of Reference, approved the Recruitment and Remuneration policy for Independent Advisors, noted the Housing Management Performance and Compliance Report, noted the Tenants’ Voice Report, noted the Your Voice, Our Action report, noted the Housing Management Policies Plan and agreed the committee's forward work plan.

Cabinet - Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 5.30 p.m.

The Cabinet agreed all of the items on its agenda. The most significant decisions were to progress a new draft Local Plan and to begin consultation on a Public Space Protection Order for dogs and their owners. The Cabinet also agreed to extend the contract for the Barkantine Heat and Power Company for two years, and to grant permission for five schools to become academies.

General Purposes Committee - Tuesday, 4th June, 2024 6.30 p.m.

The General Purposes Committee met on Tuesday 4 June 2024, electing Councillor Shafi Ahmed as Vice-Chair and approving the minutes from the previous meeting. The committee also reviewed its work plan and terms of reference for the upcoming year, and agreed to nominate individuals for local authority governor positions at Tower Hamlets maintained schools. An update on elections was withdrawn from the agenda due to urgent work in the elections team, and a verbal update on constitution changes was provided.

The King George's Field Charity Board met on Wednesday 29 May 2024 to discuss the charity's financial position, governance, and the allocation of grant funding. Key decisions included approving increases to hire charges for the Art and Ecology Pavilions and the Stepney Green astroturf facility, and agreeing to proceed with several projects funded by Fields in Trust, including the installation of practice cricket nets and a refreshment kiosk.
