Public Spaces Protection Order Expirations September 2025

Recommendations for five Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) that are set to expire in either September or December of this year will be presented to Cabinet.  The PSPOs to be discussed include restrictions on begging and rough sleeping (where anti-social behaviour is a factor), anti-social drinking in public, amplified music causing an unreasonable disturbance in the town centre and various dog controls.  Full details of PSPOs in Tunbridge Wells, please visit tunbridgewells.gov.uk/pspo.

Application for Affordable Housing Grant for development at Land at Down Farm, Lamberhurst

The report considers an application to the Affordable Housing Fund from Town and Country for funding to assist with the delivery of affordable housing permitted at Land at Downs Farm, Lamberhurst under the full planning permission 22/01822/FULL.  The scheme is a 10 unit Section 106 affordable housing scheme, which forms part of a wider development of 26 units total.  The agreement requires 4 of the units to be shared ownership and 6 to be for social rent.
