About
The Licensing Committee is responsible for a range of licensing functions as defined by the Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities) Regulations 2000 and the Council's Constitution. It handles all licensing matters, with specific exceptions outlined in the Licensing Act 2003, such as the statement of licensing policy. The committee also exercises all other functions of the Council as a Licensing Authority under the Licensing Act 2003, impacting businesses and individuals requiring licenses within the Tunbridge Wells area.
