During the meeting, the Aldermen will be asked to pass a vote of thanks to the Late Lord Mayor, and to consider applications for the Freedom of the City. They will also discuss resolutions on retirements, congratulatory resolutions and memorials.

The Port Health & Environmental Services Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss a variety of topics, including proposed fee increases for the Heathrow Animal Reception Centre, a mid-year update on the Environment Department's business plan, and an update on the Tobacco and Vapes Bill. The committee was also scheduled to review and make decisions on the Heathrow Animal Reception Centre's byelaws.

The General Purposes Committee of Aldermen met on 14 October 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including the election of a deputy chair, appointments to various committees, and support for UK-based financial and professional services. The committee was also scheduled to discuss the Mayoral and Shrieval Fleet, and the Livery Liaison Scheme in a non-public session.
