The Children, Education and Housing Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss a range of issues, including a review of the Housing Allocation Scheme, the future management of council housing stock, and services for children and young people. The committee was also scheduled to review its work programme and consider proposals for future scrutiny reviews.

The West Northamptonshire Council was scheduled to meet on 27 November 2025 at The Guildhall, Northampton. The agenda included discussion of the Local Government Pension Scheme, the Youth Justice Plan, changes to committee places, and a new public mortuary. The West Northamptonshire Council's Strategic Planning Committee convened on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, to discuss and decide on two major planning applications in Harpole. Both applications, concerning land at Norwood Farm and land north west of Upper High Street, were approved in line with officer recommendations, subject to conditions.

Non-Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday 6th November 2025 6.00 pm

The Non-Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met on 6 November 2025, and approved six planning applications, and one application for listed building consent. Councillors also noted the withdrawal of an application relating to land surrounding Aynho Park House, and agreed the minutes of the previous meeting.
