...that the minutes of the Budget Development Overview and Scrutiny Committee meeting held on 22 January 2025 were approved as correctly recorded, and the Committee also resolved to recommend to Cabinet that they give due regard to the Committee's comments on the 2025/26 budget proposals, including the Capital and Investment Strategy, the provisional settlement, and the consultation responses, specifically supporting targeted cuts (option 2) while reserving the right to propose alternative budgets, and also recommending a review of the budget consultation and development process.
