Mayor and Cabinet - Wednesday, 30th April, 2025 6.00 pm

The Mayor and Cabinet of Lewisham Council were scheduled to meet on 30 April 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including contract extensions, performance updates, and a review of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). They were also scheduled to consider referrals from the Healthier Communities Select Committee and the Children and Young People Select Committee. Some of the items, including discussions of the Asset Transformation Programme and Parking Contract Extension, were expected to move into Part 2, excluding the press and public.

Governance Committee - Wednesday, 23rd April, 2025 7.00 pm

The Governance Committee of Lewisham Council met on 23 April 2025 to discuss apologies for absence, the minutes of the previous meeting, declarations of interest, and a constitutional update report. The bulk of the meeting was scheduled to be dedicated to the constitutional update report. This report covered feedback from a workshop and recommendations for approval and adoption at the annual general meeting (AGM) of the council on 7 May 2025.

Governance Committee - Thursday, 13th March, 2025 7.00 pm

The meeting on 13 March 2025 was the second Governance Committee meeting about the Council's ongoing review of its constitution. The meeting included a discussion of proposed changes to the powers of the council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee, how Councillors should work with council officers, and the rules that should govern how councillors use council technology. It also included the proposed adoption of a new code of conduct for council employees.

Mayor and Cabinet - Wednesday, 12th March, 2025 6.00 pm

This meeting included a range of topics. The most significant were the adoption of a new sustainable procurement strategy, approval of funding for 137 community projects from the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy, and consideration of the Housing Retrofit Strategy. The meeting also included requests for extensions to several supported housing contracts and an extension to the out of hours switchboard contract.

Safer Stronger Communities Select Committee - Thursday, 6th March, 2025 7.00 pm

This meeting was scheduled to include a presentation from the Police about the progress they are making on the council's priorities in the Safer Lewisham Plan, and a discussion about the progress made implementing Lewisham's borough-wide Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). The Committee was also scheduled to review its work programme.
