The Health and Wellbeing Board of Hackney Council resolved to approve recommendations on 22 October 2026. Hackney Libraries will be embedded in neighbourhood health plans, proposal development and strategic partnerships will be endorsed, and two-way referral pathways will be established between health professionals and library teams.

The Hackney Health and Wellbeing Board endorsed the recommendations from the Community-led Needs Assessment on 22 October 2026. The Board agreed on a partnership approach for implementing the recommendations, including identifying ownership and next steps. Specific officer actions include tailoring health information formats, supporting community leaders, and improving appointment booking systems.

The Hackney Health and Wellbeing Board approved the approach for the Neighbourhood Health Plan. The decision was made on 22 October 2026. The plan will set out local population health priorities and how they will be addressed.

The Hackney Health and Wellbeing Board approved recommendations on building social capital for health on 22/10/2026. The board committed to embedding social capital metrics in the Neighbourhood Health Plan, co-producing plans with communities, adopting an asset-based community development model, coordinating participation activities, exploring participatory budgeting and micro-grants, and establishing policies to fairly compensate community members.

The Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee approved the minutes of previous meetings on 06/10/2026. The committee also approved the appointment of Councillor Rachel Nkiessu-Guifo as Chair and noted the Terms of Reference for the municipal year 2026/27.
