The Health and Wellbeing Board of Newham Council met on Wednesday 21 January 2026 to discuss community insights into health and care services, strategic approaches from the North East London Integrated Care System (ICS), and annual reports from the Newham Safeguarding Children Partnership (NSCP) and the Newham Safeguarding Adults Board (NSAB). Key decisions included noting the ICS System Strategy and endorsing the NSCP's priorities for the coming year.

The Newham Health and Wellbeing Board met to discuss a range of health initiatives and strategies, including updates on the Newham Health Equity Programme, action on diet-related diseases, and a London-wide campaign to improve heart health. The board approved the Better Care Fund 2025-26 submission and narrative plan, and discussed integrated neighbourhood teams.

This meeting was scheduled to include reports on a range of health and wellbeing topics, including the Newham Health Equity Programme, the Eat Well Newham scheme, the Healthwatch Newham patient information leaflet, the work of the Deaf outreach worker and the annual report of the Newham Safeguarding Adults Board. The meeting was also scheduled to include a verbal update on how North East London Integrated Care System was approaching meeting the needs of Newham's population.
