Special Meeting, Renewal, Recreation and Housing Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday 15 October 2025 6.00 pm
The Renewal, Recreation and Housing Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Bellegrove Housing Development, focusing on the award of the construction contract. The committee agreed to support the recommendations outlined in the Bellegrove Housing Development - Award of Works Contract Part 1 Public Report, which included approving the award of the main construction contract and delegating authority to the Director of Housing, Planning, Property and Regeneration to handle grant funding and legal documentation. The Bromley Council Executive met to discuss contract awards and service provisions, including approving contracts for the Bellegrove Housing Development and facilities management at the Churchill Court [^1] Civic Centre. The council also agreed in principle to extend the contract for parks management and grounds maintenance services with idverde, and approved the procurement of a new parking contract in collaboration with the London Borough of Bexley.
