The Schools Forum met on Wednesday 8 July 2026 to discuss the forward plan of reports for the upcoming year, review the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) outturn position for 2025-26, and consider the 2026-27 funding update. The meeting also included a review of children's services fees and charges for 2026-27 and an update on school balances.

The Schools Forum met on Wednesday 14 January 2026 to discuss the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) for the upcoming academic year and to review the current financial position of the grant. Key decisions were made regarding the implementation of the National Funding Formula for schools and the approval of hourly rates for early years providers.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Schools Forum is scheduled to meet remotely to discuss Dedicated Schools Grant funding, school place planning, and other related matters. The forum is expected to review updates on the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) for both the current and upcoming financial years, including specific blocks for central school services and high needs. Additionally, school place planning and the capital programme for the coming years are also scheduled to be discussed.

In particular the meeting was due to discuss the Dedicated Schools Grant budget strategy for 2025-26, the latest funding arrangements for 2025-26 announced by the DfE, and the preferred option for the 2025-26 National Funding Formula for Schools. The forum was also due to note the current position of the Dedicated Schools Grant for 2024-25.
