The Board also approved the publication of a supplementary statement to the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA)[^2] for Lewisham. The Board noted updates on the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) [^3], the implementation of the Birmingham Lewisham African Caribbean Health Inequalities Review (BLACHIR) [^4], and the new Lewisham Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

The Healthier Communities Select Committee met on Thursday, 18 July 2024, to discuss the progress of the Birmingham and Lewisham African and Caribbean Health Inequalities Review (BLACHIR) and to receive a final report on the Empowering Lewisham Programme. The committee also agreed its work programme for the upcoming year.
