About
The Sustainability Committee oversees Aberdeenshire Council's efforts in sustainable development and climate change. It ensures compliance with legal obligations, particularly concerning the Climate Change Action Plan. The committee also responds to government and other bodies on these issues, including reporting on national climate change initiatives. Furthermore, it works to raise awareness about sustainability within the council and the wider Aberdeenshire community.
