The Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee of Aberdeenshire Council noted that no declarations of interest were made on 09/06/2026.

The Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee noted the statutory consultation report on the closure of Kinneff School on 09/06/2026. The committee provided comments to the Education and Children's Services Committee for their consideration. These comments included clarity on school transport provision for affected parents and a request to move playground equipment from Kinneff School if recommendations are approved.

The Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee of Aberdeenshire Council noted the Statement of Outstanding Business on 09 June 2026. An informal session with Officers to discuss local roads issues was arranged for 23rd June 2026.

The Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee of Aberdeenshire Council approved the Sederunt and Declaration of Members' Interests on 19/05/2026. No declarations were made in accordance with the Councillors’ Code of Conduct.

The Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee decided to consider and provide comment to the Education Service on the Education Scotland report for Johnshaven School on 19/05/2026. The committee was asked to consider the report detailing strengths and areas for improvement identified by Education Scotland inspectors.
