The Cabinet will be asked to approve arrangements regarding
the letting of two floors at Maritime House in Barking Town Centre
to a significant healthcare provider and the allocation of funding
to enable window replacement and other external works to be carried
out to the building.

Cabinet resolved to:
(i) Approve the
allocation of £4.1m of Strategic Community
Infrastructure Levy (SCIL) funding to Queen Mary University
for the North East London Dental Outreach Collaborative; and
(ii) Delegate authority
to the Strategic Director, Inclusive Growth and Place, in
consultation with the Head of Legal, to take any steps necessary to
ensure compliance with the Subsidy Control Act 2022 and to execute
all agreements, contracts and other documents on behalf of the
Council in order to implement the allocation of SCIL funding.
