Purpose
The Cabinet will be asked to agree the entering into an Access Agreement with the London Borough of Barnet in relation to the CCAS framework for the provision of Audit, Assurance and Advisory Services.
Decision
Cabinet resolved to:
(i) Agree that the Council enters into an Access Agreement with the London Borough of Barnet in relation to the CCAS framework for the provision of Audit, Assurance and Advisory Services, in line with the strategy outlined in the report;
(ii) Waive the requirement to undertake a full procurement tender exercise in accordance with paragraph 4.3(a) of the Council’s Contract Rules; and
(iii) Authorise the Strategic Director of Resources, in consultation with Cabinet Member for Finance and Corporate Services and the Director of Law and Governance, to conduct the procurement and award and enter into the contract(s) and all other necessary or ancillary agreements to fully implement and effect the proposals.
