About

The Cabinet is the executive decision-making body of Bassetlaw Council, comprising the Leader and seven other councillors, each responsible for a specific portfolio area. It handles key council decisions and policy development. Members of the public can ask questions relevant to the Cabinet's portfolios at the start of ordinary meetings, provided questions are submitted in writing or by email to the Chief Executive at least 8 clear days before the meeting. There are limits on the number of questions individuals or organisations can ask per meeting and per local government year.
