The South East Lincolnshire Joint Strategic Planning Committee is a partnership between Boston Borough, South Holland District, and Lincolnshire County Councils, responsible for planning the future development of Boston Borough and South Holland District. The committee, composed of nine councillors (three from each participating council), adopted the South East Lincolnshire Local Plan 2011-2036. This plan guides future development and land use within the designated areas.
